ABOUT VIETNAM PHOTO TOUR

The main focus of this photo tour is the spectacular birdlife of Southern Vietnam including Indochinese Green Magpie, several species of Pitta, endemic Collared and Orange-breasted Laughingthrushes and many other beautiful birds.  In addition, we will be on the lookout for mammals, mostly primates including Yellow-cheeked Gibbon, Black-shanked Douc Langur and Pygmy Loris.  We will see some beautiful landscapes and architecture during the tour as well.  Vietnam has an excellent network of bird photography hides which we will be using to get close images of these beautiful species.  The tour includes 4 days each in the Tan Phu – Nam Cat Tien National Park area, which is largely lowland rainforest and 4 days on the Dalat Plateau, where the main ecosystem is montane rainforest.
