BOTSWANA PHOTO TOUR

This photo tour visits 3 great locations in Botswana, the Okavango Delta, the Chobe River Floodplain and Savute Pan.  We spend 3 nights at a five-star lodge inside the Okavango Delta, 4 nights in Kasane where we do boat trips on the Chobe River and game drives in Chobe National Park and 4 nights in remote Northwest Botswana where we visit Savute Pan.  A very wide variety of mammals and birds will be photographed on this tour.  In addition to mokoro and boat trips and game drives, we will also be doing some setup bird photography around camp.   Elephants, Hippos, Crocs, Lions, Leopards, Roan, Sable and Cheetah are some of the top mammal subjects on this tour.  African Fish Eagles, several species of Kingfisher, African Darters and Skimmers, Carmine Bee-eaters, Kori Bustards, Lilac-breasted Rollers are just a few of the great bird species we will photograph.  It’s a great time of year for birds as the European breeding species will be returning to Southern Africa to winter at this time.

Maximum Participants: 6 photographers, 8 total including spouses/companions.
