COLORADO WILDLIFE PHOTO TOURS
This photo workshop focuses on photographing the wildlife, wild horses and birds of three Colorado wildlife regions, the wild Sand Wash Basin, Mount Evans and Rocky Mountain National Park. The Sand Wash Basin is a remote area that is wonderful for Wild Horse photography and features Mule Deer, Pronghorn and a variety of birds. Rocky Mountain National Park is excellent for Moose and we should be able to find them with babies this time of year. It’s also very good for Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Pika and a variety of birds. This time of year should be particularly good for photographing this year’s young animals. We will also visit the Rocky Mountain Arsenal near Denver which is good for Bison, Mule Deer, Bald Eagles and other birds. Mount Evans is probably the best place to photograph Mountain Goats with their kids, it’s also good for alpine birds such as Ptarmigan and Rosy Finches.
Maximum Participants: 5 photographers max.
