Trogon Photo Tours leads nature photo tours and workhops to some of the most wildlife rich locations on earth including many locations in the US and Latin America. The tour leaders, Nate Chappell and Ken Archer are world class bird and wildlife photographers. Our tours and workshops are focused on photographing birds and animals in the wild and helping you become a better photographer. Group size is small, anywhere from 2 to 10 participants per tour. PRIVATE TOURS AND WORKSHOPS - We plan and lead private tours and workshops. We can plan and lead great photography tours almost anywhere in North America, Latin America, South Africa, Thailand and other locations. We lead private workshops here in the US to help you improve whatever aspect of bird and widlife photography you want to work on. Both Nate and Ken are expert instructors.

Join Nate Chappell and Ken Archer to photograph Bald Eagles feeding on spawning fish on Hood Canal, WA. We also take a boat trip to photograph seabirds including Tufted Puffins.

Join Nate Chappell to photograph a multitude of migrating songbirds and shorebirds on the Texas Coast. Photograph songbirds from blinds at the house with the largest bird yard list in the US. We will also photograph an abundance of migrating and resident shorebirds and waterbirds.

Join Ken Archer Chappell to photograph the Jaguars, birds and wildlife of the Pantanal region in Brazil. The number of great photo opportunities on this trip is amazing. The extension features great photography of hummingbirds, tanagers and toucans among many others.

Join Ken Archer to photograph the winter wildlife and birds of Yellowstone National Park. Coyotes, Elk, Bison, Bighorn in beautiful winter settings with good chances for Wolf, Bobcat, Red Fox and other mammals. Trumpeter Swans, Grouse and songbirds and beautiful landscapes add to the list of subjects.
